A group of 10+ students from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU entered a Def Jam contest, where they had to cover “Diamonds” from Rihanna’s top selling album, Unapologetic.  They won and now get to meet the famous pop star herself as she has arranged a meet-and-greet with the talented bunch!  Check out the video that everyone is raving about:

It’s not everyday that I get the chance to show off the success stories of my friends, but this time is TOOOOTALLY DIFFERENT!  I’m honored and delighted to share some AMAZING news with my Dreamworld today.  My long time partner-in-crime is making some big moves in Hollywood and has been bestowed with a very prestigious invitation this year.  CJ McBath starred in the short film, Redeemer, which was directed by Erma Elzy Redeemer was selected in the Hollywood Black Film Festival in 2011 and in 2013, his film has been selected in the 21st Annual PAN African Film and Arts Festival!  This was CJ’s first DVD cover in LA and now the world gets to see it once again!

Please, if you are in the Los Angeles area, go and support!  The film will be screening at Rave Cinemas in L.A. on February 8th at 4:40pm and again on February 12th at 6:30pm!

In the latest edition of Rolling Stone magazine, where Rihanna graces the cover, she speaks openly about her rekindled love with singer, Chris Brown.  Sure, everyone talks about it and some even support their decision to find love in a hopeless place (get it?), but dare I ask the question: Would you go back to an abuser?  It may sound harsh or you may not even care, but I’m really curious.  Would you willingly go back to someone who beat you to a pulp?  Furthermore, would you risk your brand, your endorsement deals, you image, etc. all in the name of love?  Does love really conquer all?  Check out what she had to say in her interview: Click Here for Interview
