Since the start of the Dreamworld, there’s been a constant theme of searching for my passion and ultimate happiness, while inspiring others and sharing success stories.  It’s taken several years, but I’ve finally discovered that it is hard searching for myself and inspiring all of you at the same time.   This explains my frequent breaks from blogging.  At some point, I needed to take my own advice, right?  Well, I did…and it worked!

With June more than half way gone, a 6 month check-in of 2017 seems appropriate.  Last year was full of adventure and self reflection, with a splash of creating new personal goals.  This year’s theme is good vibes (and people) only.

Over the years, I made a few promises to myself: surround myself with good people, keep trying new things, and travel more. I’m making good on each one (thanks God and pats self on back).  While it hasn’t been easy, there’s a certain joy that I feel knowing I’m shaping my future right NOW!

 

Here are my top three dreams in action:

1. I’m in my final year of Graduate school (yay!), then onto completing my PMP certification exam.

2. I finally started sharing my photography skills with the world and its getting so much love and visibility!  I was nervous, but starting my own photography page was the first step in exploring a potentially new career path and a longtime hobby (IG: dream_girl_photography_).

3. I said no to bad and unreliable “friends” in order to circulate good energy around me.

 

Exciting things are happening in my life and while number three isn’t as pretty as one and two, it’s probably the most important.  I won’t ever be able to enjoy or find happy and successful moments in my life if I’m not surrounded by genuinely good people who clear the path for greatness to flow in. What’s essential are people that devote time and energy to the friendship no matter how busy they are, people who support and encourage me, and people who are PROUD to call me their friend and vice versa.

I no longer fight or question who stays or leaves my life because my journey requires my tribe and circle to be loyal, loving, and strong.  Hopefully my 2017 check-in inspires all of you to reflect on your personal goals and necessities.
