FINALLY! There is some headway in the production of Fifty Shades of Grey! We have been patiently waiting for a sneak peak, a glimpse, even a sign of who was cast as the infamous Mr. Grey! Well, the lucky man is supposedly Jamie Dornan (pictured below) and the first installment of the trilogy is set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2015. I am eagerly anticipating all three films as I was a huge fan of E.L. James’ masterpieces. Here is the hottie, Jamie Dornan!

Did LUPITA NYONG’O Get the BEYONCÉ Treatment?
Famed actress, Lupita Nyong’o, known for her moving role in 12 Years a Slave, has been the center of a touchy subject. She recently did a photo shoot with Vanity Fair and they are catching some heat because fans and readers believe that Lupita’s skin was lightened (hence the Beyoncé treatment). There has always been a stigma when it comes to black skin. Some act as if dark is not beautiful. Is this the case with Vanity Fair or was it simply just the way her skin photographed with an all-white background? Either way, she is beautiful, but I really hope and pray that this was not intentional because that would be just sad.

Celebrities Have Big Things Going On Too!
You know my motto…I keep celebrity talk classy! Here are some big things that are going around in celebrity-ville; check it out:
EVA’s ABOUT TO POP!
Eva Marcille is pregnant with her first baby with singer and songwriter, Kevin McCall. She is due any day now and I must say, she is one of the cutest preggers I’ve seen. She’s been sharing her belly growth on Instagram throughout her entire pregnancy and there’s nothing more beautiful!
Wishing you the best delivery ever and your latest photo proves that you are ready to pop!
CASSIE’s EN-WHY2EL-AYE!
In other news, singer and Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie, is extending her reach into the entertainment world with her brand new fashion partnership with clothing brand, Young & Reckless. Cassie will be creating her own line, “EN-WHY2EL-AYE” which is a funky derivative of NY to LA. Some of her pieces incorporate artwork made personally by Cassie herself, which is pretty cool and original. It’s no secret, she is a beautiful girl, so modeling her own pieces is a no-brainer! Work it girl!
DAY 26 IS BACK!
Remember the Bad Boy group, Day 26? They made some pretty popular hits, such as Exclusive, and since their abrupt disappearance from the scene, fans have been wanting a return. Recently, all-female Bad Boy group, Danity Kane, reunited (minus D. Woods, whose publicist refused to make a statement on the subject) and they are making their way back on the scene. Therefore, it’s not a surprise that Day 26 followed in their footsteps. This week, Day 26 will be performing in NYC at SOB on Sunday; details are below.
Ciara Addresses Negative Bloggers!
See, I told you that the world is full of negative/gossip bloggers in my post, “Why Don’t I Blog About Gossip More Often?” Even celebrities are paying attention and fame does not exempt someone from getting their feelings hurt. Recently, Ciara addressed the negativity surrounding social media, specifically bloggers who are focused on earning money for their harsh stories. It makes my stomach turn to read some of the trash that gets published, but Ciara proves that I am not the only one who feels this way. If you are a REAL writer, you don’t always have to rely on putting others down to be noticed! She states:
Dear Blogger, It’s never worth it in the end when you sell your soul for a quick dollar, by creating bad stories about people. At some point, it will all reverse on you and you’ll end up regretting all the trash you wrote or said about people.
The universal friend “Karma” has demonstrated this over and over again. I strongly encourage you to project more positivity into the universe. If Social Media is a world that’s growing more massive by the day, why not use it to shed light?? Otherwise, you are merely contaminating our universe.
What about your family and kids?? Do you think about them?? You’re definitely creating a harmful and volatile environment where they must learn to live. It’s almost like you are cursing future generations with your bad energy.
Not to mention…Your “Personal Karma”??… Forget about it!
You better start doing some serious praying and rebuking, cause only The Lord knows!…:)I sure do miss the good ol days when the focus was about the pure creativity of being an artist. Back then there was still some mystery. Social Media Is Beginning To Take Away The Specialness of What That Was, and Is.
Now, Off Blogs. Peaceful Mind. Living In My Happiness. Creativity Only.
Love, C
[Video] “Yonce” is a 2 Minute Tease!
Fine, I will do my part as an impartial blogger *clears throat* and give the lady some credit. Beyoncé sure knows how to surprise her fans, but as she evolves in this game, so does her sexual radiance. Many people got on Rihanna’s case for being too sexually charged, but it seems like our Houston diva, Bey, isn’t too far behind. I must say, I’m kind of loving this alter ego, cat-woman-like fierceness from our girl. Check out her two-minute Yonce teaser!

Tired of the same old relationship books that repeat the same tips and to-do’s? Well, here’s a book that should be refreshing (and a neat stocking stuffer)! The Book of G.A.M.E. was written by Charles Kellam (aka the Philly Cat), known for his success as a comedian, and he has taken on the challenge to help men out there Get A Major Edge.

Sons of Anarchy Moment of Truth…
Ok, so it may seem a bit psycho to believe that a show can enlighten a person’s inner demons, but I’m here to tell you it’s true. Ever have those moments when you know you are moving through a weird phase in your life, but you can’t pin point the exact emotion(s) you feel? I had an epiphany after watching the season 6 finale of Sons of Anarchy. I felt betrayed, disappointed, but most of all sad. This is a spoiler alert, so if you haven’t seen it yet you may want to exit out of this post.
Throughout the entire series, we’ve seen this love rollercoaster between Jax and Tara. They have killed together, fought, made a baby, got married, walked away, came back, and much more. By season 6, they had drifted apart and lost their way. Two worlds that no longer mixed together had to find their way back. There was a struggle between the violent, unforgiving world that Jax lived in and the honest, loving world that Tara wanted to raise their children in. After years of ups and downs, love and turmoil, and then finally making peace and finding their way back into each other’s heart, the unthinkable happens when Tara was killed by her own mother-in-law. In that moment I cried because Jax and Tara had worked so hard to make a mends and to openly prove their unconditional and irreversible connection.
What does this have to do with me? Well, it made me think…is this really what life is? You work so hard, you fight for what you love, you never give up and in the end you get dealt the worst of it all. For all the things that we do bad in life, do they really come back to us as karma, even if at our core we are good people? I believe that the answer is, yes. Every single thing that we do, every decision that we make, every person that we invite into our atmosphere will come back to us. No matter how much happiness we find with one person, the other people that we’ve brought harm or pain will not be forgotten or overlooked. So, yeah…it may just be a show, but the moral compass is set in the perfect direction. Good job Kurt Sutter!
Yes, Beyoncé Did It Again!
Just when we thought it couldn’t happen again, the possibilities within the music industry were redefined as Beyoncé released her new self-titled album at midnight. Each song is accompanied by a video with features from Jay-Z, Drake and Frank Ocean (to name a few). Ohhhh she’s a little sneaky one, but I always welcome the rush of originality so I can’t knock it. Be sure to purchase her new album on iTunes or get a taste on her official website.
Drake Surprises Strawberry Mansion Students in Philadelphia!
As some of my readers know, I grew up in Philly and know just how rough it can be, especially for the youth. National news has reported about the Philadelphia School District and its struggling financial status. Kevin Hart recently donated $250,000 to buy new computers for students and now Drake has jumped on board. What has once felt like a forgotten city, is now the recipient of some huge donations; people actually do care. ABC News did a report (click here) on a well-known Philadelphia school, Strawberry Mansion, and it inspired rap star, Drake. Diane Sawyer highlighted the grim financial state of the school that can barely afford school uniforms, but is trying to be known for something more than its violence.
Drake saw the report and said, “I was so heavily effected that I started questioning major aspects of my life.” He surprised Strawberry Mansion students and faculty with the announcement that he is building a recording studio. Knowing how some of the city’s schools struggle, it means a lot to see such big names in the industry taking notice. Not many celebrities look students in their eyes and say, “This is about you, this is about your school, this is about your principal!” Take a look at how Drake surprises students:
