Rihanna “Diamonds World Tour”…Nuff Said!

OK, I will admit…I’ve always loved Rihanna, but I saw her perform during Kanye West’s “Glow In The Dark” tour and she wasn’t really that good.  Despite my bad experience, I remained obsessed with her music and her “don’t give a sh*t” attitude.  I’m glad that I held up to my obsession because she has grown so much as a performer.  I checked out Rihanna’s “Diamonds World Tour” in Baltimore and I didn’t sit down once!  Check out some of my pics!

*Video* Rihanna “Stay”

This is, BY FAR, my favorite track off of Rihanna’s Unapologetic album!  This isn’t the version that was premiered on E!, but that version won’t be released until tomorrow morning!  Check it out:

Don’t Believe That Dreams Come True? Check This Out!

A group of 10+ students from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU entered a Def Jam contest, where they had to cover “Diamonds” from Rihanna’s top selling album, Unapologetic.  They won and now get to meet the famous pop star herself as she has arranged a meet-and-greet with the talented bunch!  Check out the video that everyone is raving about:

Rihanna Dishes on Her Rekindled Love…Can This Hurt Her Brand?

In the latest edition of Rolling Stone magazine, where Rihanna graces the cover, she speaks openly about her rekindled love with singer, Chris Brown.  Sure, everyone talks about it and some even support their decision to find love in a hopeless place (get it?), but dare I ask the question: Would you go back to an abuser?  It may sound harsh or you may not even care, but I’m really curious.  Would you willingly go back to someone who beat you to a pulp?  Furthermore, would you risk your brand, your endorsement deals, you image, etc. all in the name of love?  Does love really conquer all?  Check out what she had to say in her interview: Click Here for Interview

In honor of me LOVING Rihanna’s new album, Unapologetic, here goes the video for one of my favorite tracks.  Diamonds has definitely grown on me…it may even be my best friend!  Love, love, love…enjoy!

Who Would Cyber Bully Over Chris Brown?!

So, you KNOW that I don’t do the ultra gossipy thing on my site (as in I don’t care if the baby is Beyonce’s or not!) so whatever pop culture buzz is going around I like to dig deeper and focus on the REAL issue.  Some of it is entertaining, but dang do we really care what a celebrity wears to Starbucks?  I don’t (even though I click on the link JUST to see if one of them is wearing a hairstyle or lipstick color that I like hee hee).  With allll of that said, I want to chit chat about the latest DRAMA/LOVE TRIANGLE between Chris Brown, Rihanna and Karreuche.  Clearly, it’s none of anyone’s biz-nass who he is boning or “canoodling” with behind the bleachers, BUT I think it’s going too far when ladies are cussing each other out over this fool via Instagram.  In a time when bullying is REAL and youngsters are killing themselves, it just creates attention around immaturity.  Some argue that celebrities shouldn’t be considered role models and others believe that their platform is powerful and can influence a lot of people.  I’m on the fence!  However, when I see this type of behavior, it’s hard for me not to cringe and wish that they would be smarter because people are WATCHING. Check out the convo that transpired between Melissa Forde and whoever else that is affiliated with Chris Brown’s ex:

What do you think? Is stuff like this influential on others to bully?  Does it glorify something that is a never ending battle?
